CFrick BWColin Frick, Chief Executive Officer

Colin commenced with the Improvement Foundation in 2007 and has significant senior management experience including responsibility for managing large budgets and working within complex organisations with diverse stakeholder involvement. Colin was previously the General Manager for the Australian National Primary Care Collaborative (NPCC) Program and has been trained by the UK Improvement Foundation in the Collaborative methodology. Colin has been responsible for strategic planning and taking opportunities from concept stage to implementation, and with a strong background in technology Colin has advanced IT skills and has a strong understanding of data reporting.Recent presentations include:

DaleFord BWDr Dale Ford, Principal Clinical Advisor
Dale has been involved in the Australian Primary Care Collaboratives Program since its inception, initially as their inaugural clinical chair and then a member of their advisory group. Dale has trained in the Collaborative methodology and quality improvement techniques in the UK and the US and has presented extensively throughout Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and Europe. MDhillon BWMia Dhillon, Improvement Consultant Team Leader
Mia’s clinical experience is spread across the primary and secondary healthcare sectors in Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia and she holds a Masters in Public Administration (Management) from Flinders University and a Bachelors Degree in Science and Nursing from University of British Columbia.

Mia has presented and been a MC at various Closing the Gap events and she also delivered the closing address ‘Good Practice and Quality Improvement in Primary Mental Health Care’ at the at the Australian Medicare Local Alliance National conference.

MalathiMalathi Kanagasabapathy, Improvement Consultant Team Leader
With working knowledge and experience of government and non-government organisations, both locally and internationally, she has developed strategic alliances with peak body organisations and international leaders in Health. Recent presentations include:

Originally a participant in the NPCC program in 2005, Tony was a Clinical Director for the Australian Primary Care Collaboratives Program since 2007 and inaugural Clinical Lead for the eCollaboratives Program. Tony has served on a number of national eHealth advisory groups, including as a National eHealth Transition Authority Clinical Lead. Recent presentations include:

Andrew has a long standing interest in quality improvement in general practice and was a clinical consultant to the Australian Primary Care Collaboratives Program Program, as well as a leading author on several internationally and nationally published peer reviewed journal articles. Andrew has had articles published in the British Medical Journal and Australian Family Physician. Recent presentations include:
